Two kinds of tool live here. The distribution calculators place you against the rest of the country: a percentile is the share of people below a given number, drawn from public data. The Canadian tools use Statistics Canada, the U.S. tools use the Federal Reserve and Census Bureau, and each page names its source and year. The rest are arithmetic on the figures and assumptions you enter, for business, real estate and financial independence. Every rate is a field with a visible default, so nothing here goes stale.
Pick the group that matches your question. Where you land today is a useful placement and a poor verdict; the direction you are heading matters more, and that part never shows up in a number.

These started as a way to answer a question I got asked constantly: where do I actually stand? Over time they grew into the set here, from percentiles to the arithmetic of running and selling a business. Use them to get oriented, then go do the harder work they cannot.
